About Prancer

Meet Prancer, a sweet young Thoroughbred filly with a sweet nature and plenty of potential waiting to be unlocked. Standing at approximately 14.2hh, Prancer is looking for a patient and experienced home that can help build her confidence and guide her as she continues to learn about the world.

Like many young horses, Prancer is still finding her feet. She came into care as a young filly in poor condition and, despite her difficult start to life, has made wonderful progress during her time in care. While she can be shy and unsure at times, she continues to develop with calm, consistent handling.

Prancer (black halter) has not received any formal training and is still learning important social and life skills. She is noticeably more reserved than her paddock mate Vixen and can be quite hand-shy, so she will need an owner who understands the importance of patience, kindness, and allowing a young horse to progress at her own pace.

Prancer would be best suited to an experienced horse person who enjoys working with young horses and is committed to providing the time, consistency, and guidance needed to help her reach her full potential. With the right person in her corner, we believe Prancer will continue to grow in confidence and develop into a lovely horse. Prancer needs someone that's committed to meeting her physical, behavioural, and welfare needs for the long term.
