About Dasher

Meet Dasher, a handsome young Thoroughbred gelding with a friendly nature and plenty of potential waiting to be unlocked. Standing at approximately 15hh, Dasher is looking for a patient and experienced home that can help build his confidence and guide him as he continues to learn about the world.

Like many young horses, Dasher is still finding his feet. He came into care in poor condition and, despite his difficult start to life, has made wonderful progress during his time in care. With consistent care and handling, he has continued to flourish and is now ready to find a home of his own. Dasher (Blue Halter) is living with his paddock friend Comet, who is seen in his photos.

Dasher has not received any formal training and is still learning important social and life skills. While he can be unsure in new situations, he has a sweet temperament and responds well to calm, patient handling. He will benefit from an owner who understands the importance of allowing young horses the time and space to learn at their own pace while providing clear, consistent guidance.

Dasher would be best suited to an experienced horse person who enjoys working with young horses and is committed to helping him develop into a confident and well-rounded partner. With the right support, we believe Dasher has a bright future ahead of him.
