About Neil

Hi, I'm Neil - a big, lovable bear with a lot of personality and plenty to say!

My favourite things in the world are tummy rubs, going for walks, sleeping in bed with my people, and having lots of attention. I also love to chat, so if you're looking for a dog who will happily have a conversation with you, I might be your guy!

I settled into my foster home within just a few days, although some things took me a little longer to understand. I can be unsure around men, loud or unfamiliar sounds, cars and rain, and I do best with someone who is patient and willing to help me build confidence.

I'm also still learning my manners and would benefit from consistent behavioural training. I can get very excited and may bark, jump or become a little overenthusiastic, so I'm looking for a family who understands that big dogs sometimes need big patience! I already know how to shake paws and I'm ready to learn so much more.

I'm toilet trained and enjoy my daily walks - with extra adventures on the weekends! I'd love a home with a big backyard and, ideally, another friendly animal to keep me company. Most of all, I need people who can give me plenty of attention, structure, patience and love.

My foster carer said I'm "a really beautiful guy" - and I think they might be right.
