About Quokka

Quokka is a cheeky, playful, and happy young lady who loves to entertain herself with her toys. She thrives in a calm home with some structure and routine to help her settle. Ideally, Quokka would do best with someone who is home often to help her adjust before being left alone for long periods. She has a strong love for food and enrichment toys, which keep her engaged and content. This affectionate girl is eager to say hi to everyone she meets, though she can be easily aroused and jumpy, so she'll need some guidance on staying calm and working on her "four paws" training. Quokka would be best suited to a home with teens, though older, calm kids might also be a good fit after a meet. Social and playful with other dogs, she can sometimes become vocal and frustrated before meeting them. She would do best with a social, tolerant doggie friend and a quick, controlled introduction to prevent any frustration buildup or reactivity.
