Hi, I'm Bennett - a big goofy boy with an even bigger heart! I've got so much love (and energy) to give, but I need the right family who will guide me as I learn how to be my very best self.I'll be honest - I'm still working on some important skills like keeping all four paws on the ground and practicing a little impulse control. I really need someone experienced and committed to ongoing training, because I want to learn and I love making my people proud!Because of my size and my bouncy, playful nature, I'd be best suited to a home with kids over 10. I can play a bit rough and don't always realize just how strong I am.The best home for me will also have another friendly, social dog (I'd prefer a calm girl) who can help with my confidence and keep me company. I struggle with being left alone and can get anxious, so having a doggy friend - and someone home more often than not - would make me feel safe.I'll need to be included in all family activities and have a secure 6ft solid fence to help me stay calm and safe. I would not suit off-leash dog park - I can be a bit too much for some dogs, and I wouldn't want to upset anyone.What I really need is mental stimulation and tough enrichment toys to keep my clever brain busy. I love to self play with toys. I walk well on a harness, though if I see something exciting I might pull a little - that's another skill I'd love to keep practicing with you.At the end of the day, I'm just a really lovely boy who wants to be part of a family.
