About Tubby
Tubby is a beautiful, gentle little boy, who's ready to start his new 'forever' life with a loving family. A 'forever' life, for a kitten who has been well looked after, means approx.15 years, therefore this is a huge commitment that must be considered. Tubby arrived at our Shelter as a tiny fellow weighing .7 kg. His mother and his four siblings also came in with him.
Tubby has a wonderful bond with his sister, Cila. They look similar, they're both very affectionate with people and they're both very confident. Tubby and Cila have beautiful tabby stripes and a lovely "M" on their foreheads. We strongly advise to follow the below recommendations:-
A NUTRITIOUS DIET:- A diet of high-quality dry biscuits, a couple of daily servings of wet food and available bowls of fresh, cool water. The last 2 items are extremely important for a cat's hydration.
AN INSIDE LIFESTYLE ONLY:- Why? The RSPCA strongly recommends that cats live inside for their safety and the safety of the outside wildlife. For further help or ideas, please refer to this website:- https://safeandhappycats.com.au. Entertainment and fun inside your home can be provided by installing a couple of large cat scratchers near a window and a family room. Why? To protect your furniture, to keep Tubby's muscles and nails healthy, and cats love to go up high. Wand toys and cardboard boxes are also great entertainment for you and your cat to have fun and bond.
CARE:- Regular visits for Tubby to vet are important and are needed when he has left our Shelter. We are seeking loving human companions for him, who will treat him like a member of their family. With gentle guidance, most kittens are very adaptable and we see Tubby living with cat-savvy, respectable children, other cats and perhaps dogs if Henry is given guidance and helped co-habit with them.
A "LAUNCH ROOM":- This is a temporary area (bedroom or crate) that Tubby can feel secure in when or if he becomes overwhelmed in the home. This will help greatly with his transition to your new home. Providing this is certainly worth the effort. His adoption price includes: A FREE 2kg bag of ROYAL CANIN dry food My desexing, microchip and vaccinations Adoption Price: $325 If you think he might be the perfect fit for your family, please fill out an adoption application today! www.rspcaqld.org.au/apply-to-adopt
