About Mavis

Meet Mavis, a gentle and loving Border Collie mix with a heart full of sweetness and a soul that's just waiting to bloom in her forever home. Mavis is a little shy at first and will need a bit of time to settle in, but once she's comfortable, she'll be your most loyal and affectionate companion. She has a quiet, calm demeanor and loves nothing more than a cuddle and attention from the people she trusts. Mavis would thrive in a home where she can enjoy cozy inside family time, soaking up all the love and warmth.

At the moment, Mavis isn't sure about toys, but we believe this may change once she's settled into a secure home environment where she can relax and feel safe. She's also still learning how to walk on a lead and will benefit from positive encouragement and gentle, consistent training. Mavis is a quick learner, and with time, patience, and a bit of high-value treats, she will continue to make wonderful progress.

Mavis is social with other dogs and would especially benefit from having a canine friend in her new home. An older, more confident dog would be the perfect companion to help teach her the ropes and show her how to gain more confidence in herself. Her ideal home would have a secure yard where she can feel safe and have the space to explore at her own pace.
