Hi, I'm Dixie.

After spending more time than most at the shelter, my foster family is giving me the warmth, care, and patience I've been waiting for, and I'm starting to really come out of my shell. It feels so good to have a soft place to land, but what I really want is a forever home of my own.

I'm friendly, full of love, and ready to be someone's loyal companion. I may need a little ongoing support as I continue to adjust to new environments, but I've come a long way and I'm eager to keep learning and growing with a family who believes in me.

I'm so ready to meet the person or family who will give me the life I've been dreaming of. If you're looking for a sweet, devoted dog who's been waiting patiently for her happily-ever-after, I might just be the one for you.
