Bert is an absolute sweetheart with that classic Husky charm. He will flourish with patient, positive guidance. Bert loves fun - squeaky toys, games with his handler, and anything edible. He's very food motivated and takes treats gently. Like many Huskies, he can be a little stubborn with training, but with patience, consistency, and positive reinforcement, he's keen to learn and will work beautifully for rewards.

Bert is a lovely walking companion. He walks well on lead and, true to his gentle nature, backs off when he feels pressure rather than pulling. He is still building his confidence in the world, so slow introductions will help him most.

When it comes to handling, Bert prefers things on his terms. Slow, consent-based handling will help him feel secure and understood. He's not a dog who enjoys rushed or forced interactions - he likes to feel in control of his space and will shine with an owner who uses gentle, consent-based handling and helps him grow more comfortable over time.

Bert is very social, and would love a home with a well-matched canine friend, pending a meet and greet.
