About Nelly

Meet Nelly! This 1.5-year-old Australian Cattle Dog is an energetic, people-loving girl eager to please. She'll need time to settle into her new home and work out her routine, adopters that know cattle dogs are recommended. Nelly can be very selective with the dogs she likes, so she'll thrive as the only pet in the home, though walks with social calm dogs may be fine. We have recommended no cats. Kids over the age of 15 years old and should have lived with a dog beforehand, children must be present at the shelter for a meet and greet. Due to Nelly being reactive with other dogs at times, we have recommended nonvisible secure 6ft fencing. She is very affectionate, loves to be a lap dog and if she could, she'll be at your feet or in your lap all day long.
