About Kira

Meet Kira! Kira is a sweet, sensitive girl searching for a calm and understanding home where she can feel safe and supported. She has a very gentle nature and, once she forms a bond, truly enjoys quiet affection and soft pats from her people.

Kira can feel unsure in new environments and is looking for a patient owner who can provide a low-pressure home, with plenty of time for her to settle in at her own pace.

Her ideal home will be calm and mature, allowing Kira time to adjust before showing her goofy playful side!

Kira must be welcomed indoors as part of the family, where she can feel included. She would be best suited to a home with teenagers, though calm and respectful older children may also be considered.

Kira has previously lived with other dogs and gains confidence from their presence. She will need to meet any resident dogs prior to adoption, and a calm, social canine companion would be a wonderful support for her ongoing development.

Although not necessary, if you have room for 2 canine friends in your home, Kira would love to go home with her best friend Big Boy!

With patience, understanding, and love, Kira will blossom into a loyal and gentle companion in no time!
