Meet Tilly - A gentle soul who's survived too much and still chooses love

Tilly hasn't had an easy life. It's clear she's been treated harshly, likely bred multiple times, and left to cope with a world that wasn't kind to her. Thankfully, she's now safe with us - and despite everything, she remains incredibly people-focused, affectionate, and desperate for a human she can finally trust.

She's a sweet, sensitive girl who leans into her person for reassurance. When she's unsure, she seeks comfort - not because she's "clingy", but because life has taught her that safety is something you hold onto when you find it. With patience, predictability, and kindness, she will absolutely bloom.

- Deeply affectionate and bonds strongly with her humans  

- A little anxious at times, especially in new situations  

- Loves a good ball game and will happily play with her person  

- Toilet trained and has lovely manners  

- Sweet, gentle, and trying her best to understand a world that hasn't been fair to her

Tilly's past has been chaotic and unpredictable - so her future needs to be the opposite. She will thrive with:

- A calm, stable home  

- Predictable routines  

- Someone home more often at first  

- Slow, gentle confidence-building  

- Positive reinforcement and reassurance, never punishment  

- A human who understands that healing takes time  

Home with no cats

She does experience some separation anxiety, so she'll need someone who can help her settle in and gradually build up her time alone. She's not being "naughty" - she's scared of losing the safety she's only just found.

 Other Dogs

Tilly may benefit from a friendly, steady dog companion - but she can be selective, so a meet & greet is essential. The right dog could help her confidence; the wrong one could overwhelm her. We'll help guide the match. Most likely a sociable, confident male.
