Barney is a sweet, affectionate boy with plenty of energy and love to give. He enjoys being around his people and would love to be included in daily family life, whether that's relaxing indoors or joining in on household activities. Barney is still learning his manners and basic training, so he is looking for committed adopters who can continue teaching him through positive reinforcement and help him grow into a well-rounded companion. He already knows how to sit and is eager to keep learning. Barney enjoys toys and enrichment activities, which are a great way to keep his active mind engaged and entertained. He can be sensitive to loud noises and storms, so he will benefit from a patient home that can help him feel safe and supported when he is feeling worried. Barney has shown friendly, social behaviour with other dogs and may enjoy sharing his home with a calm, tolerant canine companion following a successful meet and greet. With love, guidance, and ongoing training, Barney is sure to make a fun, loyal, and rewarding addition to the right family. 🐾❤️
