About Marvin

Our boy Marvin is ready to go — his smile has had a makeover with nice clean teeth, his vaccinations and associated vet treatments have been started and he wants to get out of our Shelter. He only recently came to us via a surrender and it has been a little overwhelming for him, hence his desire to move on. Some of his vital statistics are - 5 years young and 5 kgs in weight (he’s not a fussy eater obviously). Inside your home, he would like to share your bed and follow you around your house just to keep you within his eyesight. Marvin is a very handsome blue/grey fellow with short hair and big, round, yellow eyes. Please read on, as we have some very important advice regarding his new adoption home and his care:-

** A balanced diet of high-quality wet and dry food plus ample fresh, cool water.

** Indoor lifestyle only, enriched with snuggles, toys and games. He has never lived outside.

** Best suited to a quiet, calm household as he can become alarmed at sudden noises, etc.

** Friends would be gentle adults and responsible, cat-savvy children.

** Although Marvin has resided with other furry pets, any introductions with new pets would have to be slow and steady. It will take time for Marvin to adjust, as he can be shy.

** Providing Marvin with his own area in your home would be ideal (to lower any stress levels).

** Regular visits to the vet would be beneficial.
