About Halo
Halo is an active and energetic girl looking for a loving family to call her own.
- She is quite worried and overwhelmed in the busy shelter environment, especially when walking around to new areas. Gets worried by all the different noises going on. Will approach people passing to say hello though. It just takes some time and reassurance to start feeling safe in new spaces.
- Halo needs owners who will allow her quality time to settle into the home and routine where she can feel safe. Once relaxed in the home gradually introduce to taking on short walks in quiet areas.
- Once feeling settled in her environment, Halo is an affectionate and loving girl. She loves to lean in for cuddles and seek out attention.
- Gradually introduce Halo to being left alone starting for short periods and providing quality enrichment.
- Halo is still young and working on her basic manners and commands. Once settled and feeling relaxed in the home, Halo will thrive from ongoing training and enrichment.
- Open to the right family- will need to support initial timidness that may be shown during meet and then be supportive of training in the home. Once comfortable can be excitable and jumpy.
- Must meet other dogs - can be tense and worried to begin. Needs time and a suitable walkout to allow her to get used to the other dog. Better suited to social, respectful dogs.
