About Smokey Dawson

Hey there! My name is Smokey Dawson. Why? Well I am a total smoke show obviously! I am so very handsome. And my name sake Smokey Dawson was an Australian singer and musician who was quite popular in the 1930s. Like my name sake I like to serenade you with my beautiful vocals, so a family that doesn't mind a chatty cathy in their home is a must. I do quiet when I get what I want, whether that is attention or food or both. Staff believe when I have room to stratch my legs, like having free roam of a house I will be less of a warbler and more of a purrer. It may be tempting to let me wander outside but I must be a strictly indoor kitty unless you have an outdoor catio. I am a very friendly and social cat with people and so I think I would be good in a home with kids as long as they aren't cat chasers or tail pullers and understand cat language I should be fine. I am an unknown with other cats, I have not shown any reactivity towards other cats but have not been housed with any either, so slow introductions and I might make friends.
