About Crunchie

Meet Crunchie! Crunchie is a sweet, gentle little soul with a sensitive nature, looking for a calm and quiet home where he can feel safe and supported. He can be a bit worried in new environments and around unfamiliar people, so he’ll need a patient adopter who is happy to take things slowly and help him build confidence at his own pace.

When he is unsure Crunchie can be appeasing and overwhelmed by touch, so it’s important that all interactions are gentle, positive, and giving him plenty of choice and regular breaks to ensure he’s comfortable.

Once he feels safe, Crunchie’s loving personality truly shines. He becomes a very affectionate companion who enjoys curling up in your lap for calm, gentle pats and quiet company.

He is very food motivated, and hand feeding is highly recommended to help build a strong, trusting bond. Crunchie should be welcomed indoors as part of the family, and crate training may be beneficial to give him a secure space to retreat to when he needs a break.

Crunchie would be best suited to a home with older children who understand how to read and respect dog body language. He will also need to meet any resident dogs prior to adoption, and would likely benefit from a calm, social canine companion, as he has previously lived successfully with other small dogs.

With patience, understanding, and lots of kindness, Crunchie will grow into a deeply loving and devoted little companion. He is waiting to meet you!
