Hi, my name is Gemma!I’m a beautiful young girl with a cheeky, playful side that really comes out once I feel safe and settled. I might not be a traditional lap cat, but I have lots of personality to share in my own special way.💡 I require a pre-adoption behaviour consultation. Our friendly behaviour team will support you every step of the way and help set both of us up for success as I transition into my new home.A few things to know about me:I’m still learning that hands are okay, so at this stage I don’t enjoy being touched.I love being near my people — hanging out, playing, and closely inspecting whatever you’re doing!While I’m not physically affectionate, I’m curious, playful, and enjoy shared space with my humans.I’m looking for a kind, patient pawrent who’s happy to work with me to build my confidence, while also accepting me for exactly who I am.The home I’m dreaming of:A quiet, predictable home without lots of visitors or foot traffic.No children or loud dogs, please. I’ve shown positive signs with other cats in care, so a calm feline friend may suit me after a very slow introduction.My own small, cosy room for the first 3–4 weeks to help me settle in gradually.An indoor-only home - the outside world feels a bit too big and scary for me. A patient, understanding human who’s ready to take things at my pace.Shy cats like me take time, but with patience and love, the journey can be incredibly rewarding. If you’re looking for a gentle companion who will quietly become part of your world, I might just be your girl 🐾✨🐾Other pets at home? - If you choose to adopt a cat that is suitable to live with other animals, it is important that a slow introduction over the course of a few weeks is followed, to ensure a smooth transition into your home for your newly adopted friend, and to not upset any existing furry residents! Please ask our staff for more information. I am desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, and up to date with parasite prevention.
