Hi, I am Bonnie!

Yes, before you ask, I am a generously sized chocolate Labrador. Some people call me "chunky," some call me "curvy," and my shelter family prefers the term "extra cuddly." Personally, I think there's just more of me to love.

I'm a mature lady with a sweet nature and a heart every bit as big as my waistline. My favorite things include leisurely walks, sunny spots for napping, belly rubs, snacks (obviously), and spending time with my people. I'm not training for a marathon anytime soon, but I'll happily join you for a stroll around the neighborhood before settling in for a cozy evening on the couch.

I have excellent house manners... well I'm definitely working on them that's for sure. Whilst I don't often meet new people, so I need a family who is ready to be patient with me.

Like many Labradors, I have a wonderful nose and a healthy appreciation for treats. My future family should be prepared to help me continue my journey toward a healthier weight with sensible meals, regular exercise, and lots of encouragement. I promise I'll do my part... especially if there are treats involved.

What I may lack in athletic ability, I make up for in love, loyalty, and personality. If you're looking for a devoted best friend with soulful brown eyes, a wagging tail, and enough affection to fill a house, I might just be the perfect match.
