About Oscar
Oscar is a shy young man, but is the absolute sweetest! When he came to the shelter, he was not used to the company of humans, and is still learning to trust. Oscar loves a hidey bed to feel secure, and once he warms up to someone he will slowly come out with a biiiiig stretch to say hello.
He came a long way in foster care, but will still need time and patience in his new home to allow him to settle in. He may need a daily reminder that he actually does love pats and ear scratches, and once he remembers this, will purr and rub his head into your hand. Play is a great way to build a relationship with Oscar, and he’d love a variety of fun toys in his home.
From the moment he came into the shelter, Oscar was intrigued by the other cats, and would love to have a friendly, older and more confident cat in the home. Due to his shy nature, Oscar would be best in a quieter home without young children.
