Meet Stevie 🐾Stevie is a sweet, 1-year-old Staffordshire Terrier mix with a gentle heart and so much love to give. Despite her young age, Stevie has already been through a lot — she sadly became a mum to nine puppies at just one year old. She and her babies spent time in a loving foster home before returning to the shelter, and now it’s finally Stevie’s turn to find her forever family.Stevie is a moderate-energy girl who enjoys a nice balance of playtime and relaxation. She’s affectionate and people-oriented and would love a home where someone is around most of the time, as she can become lonely when left alone for long periods. Home-alone training will be required, as she is still learning confidence and independence.She is a young, timid dog who will benefit greatly from a quiet, calm household, an owner with time and patience to continue socialisation, and ongoing positive training, as she has had no formal training yet.Stevie can be selective with other dogs, so off-leash dog parks are not recommended at this stage. With the right guidance, she can continue building confidence around her surroundings and other dogs.She is best suited to an experienced owner, ideally familiar with Staffy-type breeds, who can provide structure, reassurance, and gentle leadership. While she has no known issues with children, she would thrive most in a peaceful environment.Stevie is a good girl who is eager to please and keen to learn.
