I’m Trixie, a lively and intelligent female Border Collie who loves an active life — but I also know how to relax when the day is done.Like any good Border Collie, I’m incredibly clever and thrive when my brain and body are kept busy. I enjoy exercise, play, and having a purpose. A rural home would suit me best, with space to stretch my legs and an owner who understands the needs of my breed.Here’s what I’m looking for:A rural or semi-rural home with room to exploreAn active lifestyle with regular physical and mental stimulationContinued training, games, or even a job to keep my clever mind engagedOwners with experience of working or high-drive breedsI like playing with other dogs, but this will need to be controlled as I can become a little bossy, I could potentially live with another confident, active dog who enjoys a good play session and doesn't mind not being the center of attention as I do like the limelight on myself. I can be enthusiastic, but I’m not as over-the-top as some Border Collies — I do have an “off switch” and can settle nicely in the home when my needs have been met.I may initially feel a little unsure around men, so I’ll need calm, patient introductions. Once I build trust, I’m incredibly sweet, affectionate, and loyal.I do like to “chat” and will let you know if something interesting is happening — I’m an alert and expressive girl!I’m not suited to a sedentary lifestyle, but I’m also not constantly bouncing off the walls.
