Hi, I’m Tuna!I came into care through no fault of my own and at first, I wasn’t too sure about humans. With a little time, patience, and lots of TLC, I’ve started to learn that people can actually be pretty great. I’m still adjusting to my new life, so I may give the occasional hiss or swipe if I’m feeling unsure — but I promise I’m trying my best and getting braver every day.One thing about me: I love food! If I smell something yummy, I’ll come right over to investigate (that’s how I got my name!). Once I get to know you, I’m a very smoochy boy and I’ll ask for pats by giving you gentle head bumps.I would do best in a quiet home where I can feel safe and take my time settling in. I’d prefer to be the only fur baby and live in a home without young children. Big changes can be a little scary for me, so I’ll need a patient family who understands that trust takes time and is experienced with cats.If you’re looking for a sweet companion and are willing to give me the space and love I need to blossom, I promise I’ll reward you with lots of affection and head bumps once I feel at home.
