About Miss Poppy
PROJECT CAT
Still very unused to life around people, Miss Poppy will need a cat savvy person with time and patience while she adjusts to an indoor life. With all the unfamiliar sounds and smells people have in their homes, she will need slow introductions to everything. Poppy is a shy girl, but with patience and a valued treat, she will start to come out of her shell. With her foster carers, she was slowly learning to eat her favorite foods closer and closer to them, even taking food from their open hands and allowing deliberate pats around her head. A delectable cream treat goes a long way.
Her foster carers worked hard to make her feel part of their lives, taking her around the house, smells things as she gets to know them, and be rewarded for her curiosity. She loves to play with her menagerie of toys, taking particular care to make a toy snake feel over-loved.
Despite her wariness of strangers, she will hopefully blossom into her naturally bright, intelligent, and more than a bit of a mischief-making personality. She has a bit of a demanding character where food is involved. Once you've earned her trust, she'll reward you with the sound of her voice: a high-pitched "Hello...?" and "Can we be friends?"
