About Ace

Meet Ace 🐾

Ace is a gorgeous 6-month-old mixed-breed puppy who, sadly, entered our care after suffering a broken front leg that required surgery.

Because of his injury, Ace has spent many weeks confined to a crate while he recovered. As a result, he has missed out on a lot of the normal puppy experiences and socialisation that are so important at this age.

Now, Ace is ready to start making up for lost time!

Ace is a smart, affectionate and very food-motivated young boy who is eager to learn. Like many puppies, he can get excited quickly and, when overstimulated, can become quite mouthy. Ace isn't a bad pup — he's just a young puppy who has had an unfortunate start to life and really needs someone willing to patiently teach him how to be a well-rounded adult dog.

Ace will need an adopter who:

• Has the time, patience and commitment to go back to basics with him.
• Understands that he has been pent up for a long time and is now full of energy and excitement.
• Is prepared to provide him with appropriate mental stimulation and training while his leg continues to heal.
• Can help teach him appropriate ways to interact, play and manage his excitement.
• Understands that his recovery needs to come first and that exercise will need to be carefully managed until his leg is completely healed.

Ace has so much potential. He hasn't had the easiest start, but he is ready for someone to give him direction, consistency and the chance to finally be a puppy.

With the right person behind him, we have no doubt that Ace can grow into a wonderful, well-rounded adult companion. ❤️
