Meet Hank!

Hank came into the shelter as a stray and understandably, was very unsure about his new surroundings and the people in them. With lots of love, patience and gentle encouragement from the RSPCA team, Hank has slowly started to blossom into a curious and very food-motivated boy.

Hank will happily come to you for some yummy treats and gently lick creamy treats from your finger. While he is still unsure about being touched, with time, patience and plenty of positive experiences, we’re hopeful his confidence will continue to grow.

Hank is also cat-friendly and would happily live with another feline friend, provided they are introduced slowly and carefully.

Hank is looking for a quiet, adult-only home with a special person who understands that building trust takes time. He needs someone willing to let him go at his own pace, celebrate the little victories and give him the patience and reassurance he needs to continue finding his confidence.

Adopting a project cat takes patience, commitment and a whole lot of love — but watching your furry friend make those little breakthroughs is incredibly rewarding and heartwarming.
