About Gemma

Hey my name is Gemma and I am a super sweet older gal who is now looking for her very own family.

I would love a family who has experience with my breed, I am very loyal and loving but will need sometime to get to know you and form that unbreakable bond. I can be a bit scared throughout storms so need a home that will allow me to have indoor and outdoor access, I just need to be near my family to feel safe at these times, I can also see myself being a lounge lizard and a lady of luxury if you allow me to. It would be ideal if my new guardian is home more often than not especially to help me settle in, if you need to leave me alone I will need a safe backyard with solid fencing as I can get unsettled if I can see traffic walking past my house.

I will need older children in the home that understand that I may need space from time to time, I also can get pushy when I want to play and don't realise my size and I would hate to hurt anyone. I will need to be the only animal in the home other dogs make me uncomfortable and I like to keep my distance from them, I won't be suited to off lead or heavy traffic dog areas. My leash manners are beautiful so we can enjoy a nice calm walk in a quieter area together.
