About Minty
Hi, I'm Minty!
I'm a soft natured quiet girl who likes to do her own thing. I'm not a lap dog, more of a solo adventurer looking for a place to call my very own. I've grown up in a place where I was not looked after very well, I was so bored all the time and never had any quality interactions with humans, so I'm learning all about this human animal bond thing and it sounds lovely, I want to find my human now! I still have a lot to learn about this world, I'm quite shy and timid, so someone to hold my paw through it all and support me will be key to my success in a home. Since I'm so new to this human thing, I'm best suited to a home with no kids, some cool relaxed adults or just one adult, predictability in my life, and someone who knows not to push me too far out of my comfort zone. I've always had a rather small world, so if you're looking for a social Cafe or beach dog, I'm not your girl, I need to build my confidence and find that bond with someone special before I start to adventure too much into the world of people! I'm currently learning about toilet training, so I will need a patient owner who won't mind if I make a few messes on the floor.
I'm quite happy exploring in the yard on my own, sniffing and finding cool things, sleeping in the sun and playing with some awesome toys that I've never had before. If you have a quiet home with a comfy bed so I can watch TV with you, a patient personality and a big heart, I'd love to meet you. If you're interested in a quirky girl like me, fill out an application form and someone will be in touch. I am on some special medication so it won't be a same day adoption, and more than likely we will need to meet a few times before I'm comfortable enough to go home with you. I'd really like another smaller dog companion to guide me through and teach me how to be a dog, this will help with my confidence levels and ensure I get plenty of interaction and exercise!
