About Lucky

Hi!

I'm Lucky and I am a smart young staffy X who is full of beans, I would benefit from a household with children 12 years and up who are able to help me regulate my excitement by having short plays followed by some calm activities and give me space to move away instead of practicing jumping.

Just ask the staff how smart I am, they have been doing some training with me and I have been showing them what a good boy I am.

I really enjoy interacting with people and don't necessarily like being left alone at home, I will require a household where there is someone home more often than not and who can help teach me that being alone is okay. You can do this by giving me things like stuffed Kongs or other food enrichment and leaving the radio on. The staff here will give you heaps of good advice for you when you take me home.

I would be happiest as the only dog in the home because I can get a bit too focused when seeing other dogs and find it difficult to disengage from them. With ongoing positive training I can learn to walk on by when seeing other dogs. It would help if I was walked in quiet areas and not at dog parks as this will be too much for me.
