About Eric

Hi! I'm Eric, a sweet older gentleman who is looking for a lovely quiet home to lay my head!

I would love to live life in the slow lane with a family to love. I should be a lower maintenance dog; I am low energy and have a lovely poodle coat. I can be a bit timid, so a quiet home that allows me to do my own thing and go slow would be best.

I am deaf, but that doesn't stop me, I get along just fine and can pick up on a lot of cues and directions as I LOVE food. I would be the perfect little companion, especially if I'm given some lovely treats! I would love to venture out on short sniff walks once settled in and return home to a comfy bed to snooze the rest of the day away.

I have met a few furry friends in care and could go home with another senior dog of a similar size, if they are happy to plod around the home, leave me to my own devices and weren't too exuberant for me. I may be able to enjoy a nice quiet walk with a canine companion on occasion! I can become overwhelmed by excitable dogs and choose to avoid when uncomfortable, which is why I will not be able to be taken to off lead areas.

Requirements:

• Must meet all family
• Indoor/outdoor access
• Ongoing training with assistance from behaviour team
• Must meet all dogs (can be selective)
• Peaceful/Quiet home

Eric is a sweet and gentle old boy, who needs a loving home that lets him be himself and enjoy his golden years! If you think that you could be the perfect home for him please come to the shelter to meet him.
