About Sprinkles

Hi, I'm Sprinkles, a spirited, one-eyed girl who makes up for the missing eye with all the personality and joy you could ever ask for. I've been with the RSPCA for a little over a year now, since I was found with an injury to my eye and no human to call my own. The amazing team at the vet clinic & the shelter have been wonderful, and once I felt safe, I settled right into a routine here. Unfortunately, after all this time I am still looking for that special human (or humans) to call mine. 

My ideal home is a place with sunny windows where I can watch the birds, comfy beds and people who have experience with owning cats. I can startle easily as a result of my missing eye, which makes me fearful of kids & other animals so my perfect home will need to only consist of adults. It can take a couple weeks for me to really settle in and feel at home, but once I do, I am an absolute joy to have around. I have been super lucky during my time here and got to spend a few weeks in foster care. Here's what my foster mum had to say about me:

"Sprinkles is an incredible cat. She isn't the snuggliest, but if it's on her terms, she does enjoy a quick pat or cuddle on the couch. Her favourite activities are naps, string toy play & chasing her toy around the room. If she can't find a toy, she will occasionally bring me a hair tie to toss for her to chase and play with. She is quite enthusiastic at meal time so unless you want to share your dinner, best be on the lookout!"
