Hey there, I’m Rusty! I’m a 2-year-old Ridgeback mix (mixed with who knows what—but whatever it is, it made me extra special!). I weigh in at a solid 39kg of pure, goofy energy, but don’t tell me that—I genuinely believe I’m a little zippy pocket rocket! I’m an affectionate, playful, and sometimes hilariously clueless big kid who thinks I can still fit snugly on your lap. I’m all about soaking up the sunshine, playing chase with my soft toys (which I love to proudly carry around), and chilling out with a lick mat smeared with cream cheese—seriously, it’s the best thing ever.

I adore attention and a good old play session. I enjoy the company of other dogs, but I like to play rough, so I’ll need to meet any potential doggy siblings to make sure we’re the right fit. I’d also thrive in a home with dog-confident kids over 12 who can handle my enthusiastic energy when I get the zoomies! When it comes to training, I like to think I’m a bit of a free spirit. I may not be the quickest trick learner, but with patience, positive vibes, and fun, I’ll absolutely give it my best shot! I’m looking for an experienced owner familiar with large breeds who can guide me and help me grow into the best version of myself.
