About Kingston
Hello there! I’m Kingston, and I’m ready to find my forever family!
I’m a big, beautiful boy with a heart overflowing with love, and I’m just waiting to share it with the right person. While I may be a little shy at first (new people and places can be a bit much!), once I feel safe and comfortable, I’ll show you just how clever and affectionate I can be. I’m a quick learner and will gladly show you all the tricks I know in exchange for patience, treats, and your love.
When I’m excited I can be a little bouncy and I’m a bigger guy (at around 33kg), so it’s best if my future family has no young children – someone over 15 would be a much better fit so I don’t accidentally knock anyone over with my happy-go-lucky enthusiasm. But don’t let my bouncy energy fool you – I’m also a calm and sweet companion once we’ve formed a bond.
I’d love a home with a secure, quiet backyard (a solid fence is key) where I can relax without too much distraction. I’d thrive with an experienced dog owner who has the patience and commitment to help me be the best version of myself. I may need a little time to adjust, but I promise I’ll be worth it. If you’re considering adding a furry friend to your life, let’s meet first to make sure we’re a good match. And please, I’d really love a cozy retreat in my new home – a quiet, comfy spot where I can relax and recharge when I need to. Now, here’s something important to note: I have a strong chase drive, so I cannot go to a home with small animals or cats. They’re just too tempting for me to resist, and I’m more comfortable in a home where I can focus on my human family. I have been around other dogs in my foster home and I get along well with them. To ensure our energy levels are on par, I'll need to meet any potential friends first.
Could you be the one to give me the love and understanding I need to truly flourish? I can’t wait to meet you!
