About Daisy
Say hello to sweet Daisy. This gentle soul came into our care from a remote property, where she was raising a litter of adorable puppies. Now that all her pups have been adopted into loving homes, it’s finally Daisy’s turn to find a forever family of her own.
Daisy is an affectionate and quiet girl who’s looking for a calm, loving home where she can truly flourish. She spent the early part of her life isolated in a backyard, with little human interaction and no exposure to the outside world. Because of this, Daisy can find new environments a bit overwhelming. She’ll need a patient and understanding owner to help her slowly gain confidence and settle into a new routine.
Despite her shy start, Daisy has formed strong bonds with her handlers at BARC. She leans on them for comfort and guidance, and we know with the same gentle care, she’ll come to trust and love her new family too.
Daisy would thrive best in a quiet, adult-only home that offers a predictable environment and plenty of reassurance. Once she’s comfortable, she blossoms into a cuddly, curious companion who adores basking in the sun, pottering around the backyard, and sniffing out little treasures in the grass. She'll need secure outdoor access, minimal stairs, and a cozy indoor space she can call her own.
This unique girl has the sturdy torso and face of a Staffy, paired with the short legs of a Dachshund - a combination as adorable as it is unusual. Due to her build, Daisy experiences some discomfort in her front legs and has mild hip dysplasia. She is currently on a pain management plan that has made a world of difference, giving her more mobility and confidence. Her new family should be prepared to continue this care under the guidance of their vet.
Daisy would prefer to be the only pet in the home so she can soak up all the love and attention she deserves.
If you’re looking for a quiet, loving companion who’ll reward your patience with endless affection, Daisy may just be the one for you.
If you think you could give Daisy the home she deserves, please email [email protected] or call 0477 064 192, and the team at BARC will be in touch.
