About Sashi

Sashi is a sensitive and sweet cat who is looking for a calm, understanding forever home. She can be quite nervous and fearful in new environments, so she needs a patient adopter who will allow her the time and space to settle in at her own pace. Once she feels safe and secure, Sashi begins to open up and show her affectionate side. She enjoys human company and will happily curl up on your lap or on a soft blanket nearby for a cozy nap.

Sashi would do best in a quiet household without young children—no kids under 6, please—as loud noises and fast movements can easily overwhelm her. She thrives in a peaceful environment where she can choose how and when to engage, without pressure or expectations. Respect for her boundaries is key, as she does not enjoy being picked up. Her adopter should be prepared to use alternative ways to guide or move her, always prioritizing her comfort and trust.

Though she’s mostly a napper, Sashi does have her playful moments—especially when the string toy comes out. She’s also very food motivated and has a particular fondness for chicken, which is a great way to win her heart. Once she bonds with you, she will be a loving and gentle companion who simply wants to share quiet moments and feel safe by your side.
