Hi, I’m Wheeler! I’m a sweet, shy kitty looking for a patient, loving human to call my own. My early life wasn’t the easiest, as I spent my days as a stray and didn’t get the chance to experience the warmth and security of a home like many other kittens. Because of this, things like cuddles, attention, and having a safe place to call home are still new to me.

I can be a little nervous in new environments, and it might take me a little while to adjust. I want to make sure you don’t lose me in the home, so I’d feel safest starting in a smaller, quiet room where I have all my essentials. This space will help me know it’s mine and give me the comfort I need to feel secure. It’ll also allow me to gradually get used to my new home without feeling overwhelmed or panicked.

Once I’m settled and feel safe, I’ll show you my true, loving side. I just need a calm, quiet environment where I can take my time adjusting. A home without children under 6 would be best, as I’m still learning how to trust and feel at ease. I’d do best with someone who has experience with shy, sensitive kitties like me and understands that I’ll need some time before I’m ready to fully open up.

Oh, and a little secret — I’m a big fan of chicken! If you have some tasty treats for me and a bit of patience, I’ll eventually show you just how sweet and affectionate I can be.
