About Harry

Hello there, my name is Harry. I’m a 10-year-old Standardbred, and while the humans don’t know much about my past, they say I deserve a kind and caring future.

Right now, I’m spending some time settling in and getting the care I need. I’m a little on the light side, so I’ll need a home that can help me continue to gain some weight and build back my condition. With good feed, patience, and a bit of TLC, I’m sure I’ll be feeling much stronger before long.

Because not much is known about my history, I may need someone who is willing to take things slowly with me and help me learn what it means to feel safe and cared for. A patient and understanding home would suit me best while we figure things out together.

In return, I promise to be a gentle presence in your paddock and a horse who will truly appreciate the kindness shown to him. Sometimes the horses with the unknown stories are the ones who bond the deepest with the people who give them a second chance.
