About Ruby

Hi, I’m Ruby! I’m a 1-year-old Shepherd cross looking for a home to call my own! Life hasn’t always been easy for me, so I can be a little unsure and overwhelmed by the big, busy world—but with the right family, I know I’ll blossom into a confident, happy girl.

I’m looking for an experienced and patient human (or two!) who understands that I need a calm, peaceful home where I can feel safe. A predictable routine helps me relax, and I really enjoy quiet time on my bed with a delicious marrowbone or working away at a snuffle mat—those are the best!

What would make me feel really secure is having access to the indoors, where I can be close to my family and build trust in my own time. I love just hanging out and knowing you’re nearby.

I’m still learning how to feel safe around other dogs, so I’d prefer to be your one and only while I continue my rehabilitation. With your support and a little patience, I know I’ll keep growing into the amazing companion I’m meant to be.

• Solid/ secure fencing
• Must meet all family

Fencing Needs: Solid fencing (e.g. nothing to climb or height restriction)

Indoors/Outdoors Living Preference: Indoors and outdoors

Energy Level of Household: High (high energy working breeds, adolescent/energetic dogs)

Additional Needs: Must be only pet; Quiet/Calm Household; STV - see relevant waiver; Must have secure outdoor access (e.g. enclosed backyard or enclosure attached to the home)
