Hi, I’m Margo – a sweet older Kelpie mix with a gentle soul and a big heart, just waiting for the right person to come along and help me write my next chapter. Life hasn’t always been easy for me, so I take a little time to trust new people. Sudden movements or too much touch can make me feel unsure, but once I know you’re kind and patient, I’ll start to show you just how much love I have to give.

I’m looking for a calm, quiet home where I can be the only dog. I don’t mind passing other dogs on a walk – I’m quite polite at a distance – but I’m not a fan of up-close greetings, and I definitely prefer not to share my space with another dog. I’d love a yard of my own where I can relax in the fresh air and watch the world go by. A secure fence is a must, just so I feel safe and settled.

Because of my sensitive nature, I’d do best in a home with adults or older kids (12+), and with someone who has experience with dogs like me. I need someone who understands that trust takes time, and who’s happy to let me come out of my shell at my own pace.

If you’re a calm, confident dog lover with a peaceful home and a kind heart, I just might be your perfect match. I may not be the easiest girl right away, but with patience, I promise I’ll be one of the most loyal companions you’ve ever known.
