About Violet

Hi there! I am Violet. I’m a small but sweet and friendly lady who loves her people—truly, I do! I came into RSPCA's care just in time to safely welcome my babies into the world. Now that they’ve grown up and have left the nest, it’s finally my turn to find a forever home of my own.

I’ve spent most of my time in foster care, and I’ve really enjoyed the comforts of home life. I’m a fan of soft spots to nap, windows to gaze out of, and—of course—quality time with my humans. I’m not a big fan of other cats or dogs though, so I’d prefer to be the only furry family member in the house.

While I’m confident and friendly - like most cats, I’ll still need some time to settle into a new environment. A launch room (a quiet space where I can get used to things at my own pace) would help me feel safe and secure during the transition.

We don’t have history on how I go with kids, but based on my personality, the team thinks I’d do well with respectful, calm introductions. I can be a little cautious with unfamiliar people at first, but with a slow approach and gentle respect for my boundaries (like any self-respecting cat expects!), I should warm up just fine.
