Hi, I'm Cairo,

I’m a 2-year-old Sphynx cat with a heart as big as my personality—though you might not see that side of me straight away. I’m a little on the timid side when I first meet new people, but with time, patience, and a calm environment, I slowly come out of my shell and show you just how loving and loyal I can be.

I ended up at the shelter through no fault of my own, and now I’m on the lookout for a gentle, understanding home where I can feel safe and settle in at my own pace. Once I trust you, I’ll be your little buddy—curling up next to you, soaking up the warmth (and attention!).

Being a Sphynx means I have a few unique needs. Since I don’t have fur to keep me warm, I’ll need some extra coziness in the cooler months—think heated beds, soft jumpers, or sunny spots in the house. I also need regular baths to keep my skin healthy and clean, as we Sphynx cats don’t have fur to soak up natural oils.

If you’ve never had a Sphynx before, just know that we’re a little different—but in the best way. I’ll need some regular care, but I’ll give you plenty of affection and companionship in return. I just need someone who’s willing to go at my pace, give me space when I need it, and lots of love when I’m ready.
