About Wesley

Hi, I’m Wesley — a sweet little Cavoodle finding my paws in the big wide world.

I didn’t have the easiest start in life, so a lot of things are still very new to me. Sometimes I get a bit nervous, especially with loud noises or sudden movements — but I’m learning, slowly and surely, that the world isn’t such a scary place after all.

I’m looking for a quiet, calm home where I can continue to grow in confidence. Because I can be a bit shy, I’d do best in a household without young children. What really helps me feel brave is having another dog around — I love other dogs! They give me confidence, and I’d really love a home with a friendly doggy sibling who can help show me the ropes. (If you have one, I’d love to meet them first to make sure we get along.)

I’m still learning some of the basics, including toilet training. My foster family says I’m doing great, but I’ll need a home with indoor/outdoor access to help me keep up the good work.

Now here’s the fun stuff: once I warm up to you, I am the biggest cuddlebug. I’ll curl up on your lap any chance I get and melt into all the pats and snuggles. I’m gentle, affectionate, and have the sweetest little heart. Oh — and did I mention I really love food? It’s definitely the way to my heart!

If you’ve got a kind soul, a gentle home, and a little extra patience to help me continue learning, I’d love to meet you. I may need a little time, but once I trust you, I promise I’ll be your most loyal, loving little companion.
