Hello, darling. My name is Katarina

I’m a Russian Blue lady with a soft heart and a gentle soul. I found myself here at the RSPCA through no fault of my own—life simply changed, and now I’m hoping to find a calm, understanding home to call my own.

In my previous life, I wasn’t exposed to very much. It was a quieter, more sheltered world, so now that I’m seeing more of the big wide world, I’ve learned that too much hustle and bustle—like little ones or other animals—can be a bit overwhelming for me. I do best in a peaceful environment where I can feel safe and take things at my own pace. That said, don’t mistake me for a shy wallflower, I still enjoy a good burst of zoomies and a playful moment here and there. I’ve got an older-souled heart, but I’m still in that sweet spot where I enjoy the simple joys adult cats love.

I also enjoy spending one-on-one time with my humans. I think I would enjoy something called a couch? and sitting on it with you/on your lap would be nice, just sharing space while I soak up the sun—that’s my kind of day.

Oh, and one small thing—I believe in touch consent. That means I appreciate it when you let me come to you first. Offer your hand, and I’ll let you know if I’m in the mood for affection. It’s just my way of making sure we both feel safe and comfortable.
