Hello, my name is Dot. I’m a beautiful white domestic shorthair with a quiet charm and a thoughtful personality. I take my time adjusting to new surroundings, and I’m hoping to find a calm, understanding home where I can truly feel safe and settled.

I do best in a peaceful environment, ideally with adults or children over 6 who understand that some cats like to move at their own pace. I’m still learning to navigate big feelings, and sometimes when I get really into playing or petting, I can become a little overwhelmed. In those moments, I appreciate someone who can read my cues and help me take a break before I get too excited.

Once I feel comfortable, you’ll see my sweet and playful side come out. I love chasing string toys and enjoy gentle pats — especially when I know I’m in a safe, respectful space. I may not always be a lap cat, but I will be a loyal and loving companion to someone who gives me the time and space I need to feel at home.
