About Buddy
Hi all, the names Buddy and I am searching high and low (mostly low... I'm only whittle) for my forever family.
I can be a little shy, a little mysterious, a little aloof when you first meet me, I'm gonna play it cool, hang out and do my own thing, so a family with more mature kiddies that can give me my own space. But this doesn't mine I don't love your companionship, I will need you love and support adjusting to my new forever home and will need someone home more often than not during the settling in period.
I am going to need some ongoing training when I enter the big wide world. So far the shelter team have learnt lots of cheeky little quirks about me, like... I love chicken... toys confuse me a little bit? why chase ball when I could lay on bed? I protect! I like to protect my fellow people with my boofs, and I'm still learning that my wee wees go outside but there as so many things they haven't learnt yet and I am saving that journey for my new family, its fun learning together! I do best with doggy friends that are very calm and social as I can be a bit unsure when meeting new canine friends. Sometimes I bark towards them, sometimes I'm friendly so if you have another calm dog at home, please bring them into the shelter so we can organise a play date to ensure we will get along pawfectly! For this reason, it's best I'm walked in quiet areas where there is less paw traffic.
Lots of love, Buddy xo
