About Maple

Maple is a beautiful young girl who’s had an uncertain start to life. When she first came to the shelter, she was very nervous and unsure of her new surroundings. It took her some time to feel safe, but she’s slowly starting to come out of her shell.

With gentle care and patience, Maple is beginning to trust the people around her. She’s still a bit shy, but she’s showing signs of curiosity and enjoys quiet, calm attention. Maple would do best in a peaceful home with someone who understands that she needs time to settle in. With a little patience and a lot of love, she has the potential to grow into a loyal and loving companion. Maple would benefit from a 'launch room' when first coming home. This would be a small, quiet, cozy part of your house that she can call her own while she settles into your new life together. She would love a soft bed, some string toys (to help wear me out my young energy!), a litterbox or two, and a nice cubby for me to hide away if I'm feeling overwhelmed or uncertain.
