Hi there, I’m Emma!

A little shy at first… but worth the wait!

I’m a sweet, quiet girl who’s still learning to trust the world, and I’ve made amazing progress here at RSPCA BARC. When I first arrived, I wasn’t quite sure what to make of people, but I’ve discovered that humans can be gentle, kind, and even bring tasty treats!

It may take me a little while to show you my true self, but once I do, you’ll see that I’m affectionate, playful, and oh-so-worth the patience. I enjoy gentle wand play and love batting around ping pong balls — it’s so much fun!

Because I can be a bit timid, I’m looking for a quiet, calm household with no children under 6, where loud noises and sudden movements are minimal. I’m also not suitable to live with other cats, as I feel safest being the only furry companion.

When I first arrive in my forever home, I’d really appreciate starting off in a “safe space” or launch room — a small, quiet area just for me while I get comfortable. From there, I’ll slowly explore and bond at my own pace.

If you’re the kind of person who understands that love takes time and are happy to let me set the pace, I think we could be perfect for each other.
