About Guacamole

Hi, I'm Guacamole! I’m a sweet, mellow guy who’s been through a lot lately. I had to have one of my front legs amputated, but thanks to the kind humans here, I’m healing well and learning how to move around in my new body. I’m still adjusting, so I need a calm, quiet home where I can feel safe and supported so no small kiddos, please. Gentle hands and a peaceful vibe are definitely my thing. Now let’s talk about what I do love: smooches and snacks! I’m an incredibly smoochy boy who will lean into every pat and head rub like it’s the best thing that’s ever happened. If you’re sitting down, I’m the type to sneak up for a cuddle and maybe a treat. Speaking of treats... I LOVE food. Mealtimes are my favorite part of the day, and I’ll never say no to a tasty snack! Because of my surgery, I must be an indoor-only cat for my safety. My adopters will need to follow a few important home setup guidelines, so I’ve got a special home modifications handout to help you make sure I’ve got everything I need to live comfortably and confidently. Think low furniture, easy access to cozy spaces, and no scary staircases or slippery floors. I also have one more little to-do: I need to come back for a follow-up vet check to make sure my healing is going just the way it should. I promise to be brave if you promise to be there for me.
