🐾 Hi there! I’m Pookie 🐾

I’m a 6-year-old Domestic Short Hair and a proud little chatterbox. I love to talk—loudly and often—just to make sure you’re paying attention to me. Underneath all that volume, though, I’m really just a sweet old man who wants a family to love me and keep me safe.

If you’re thinking about adopting me, there are a few things you should know. I need someone who understands cat behaviour and can meet my needs with confidence. I prefer to be the only pet in the home—I’m not a fan of other animals and would much rather have you all to myself. I am also FIV-positive, but with the right care, I can live a happy and comfortable life just like any other cat.

You might notice I look a little unique due to an old injury to my face, but don’t worry—I’m still your everyday normal cat with plenty of love to give. One of my favourite things to do is perch on top of my scratcher and watch the world go by. It’s my peaceful little routine.

If you’re after a loyal companion with lots of personality (and plenty to say!), I just might be your guy.

What I’m looking for is a calm, loving home where I can be myself — goofy face, sweetheart, playful paws, and all. If you’ve got some experience and a soft spot for cats with personality, I think we could be purr-fect together. 💕
