Hi, I'm Ruby! I'm a special little lady, looking for a very specific forever home, could that be with you?

I’m looking for experienced owners who are happy to take things slow and allow me to move at my own pace. I value my personal space and won’t be a cuddle buddy straight away, but during my time in the shelter I’ve formed strong bonds with my handlers, so I know I’ll be able to build that same trust with my new family in time.

I have a few aches and pains, so I’ll need a family who are comfortable with ongoing pain management, including medication and the use of ramps to help me access higher surfaces safely and comfortably.

I’m proudly toilet trained and will only toilet on fresh grass, so I’ll need access to a grassy area within a secure fenced space to do my business.

I can be a little conflicted about touch, so I’m looking for a patient and understanding family who are happy to keep things hands-off while I settle in and learn to feel safe.
